Disabled people’s products to be sold under Victa trademark

IP News from duytho.comProducts made by disabled people will debut in Vietnam in November under Victa trademark, said an executive from a distribution centre.

The products, mainly on-the-job protection clothing, blankets, bedspreads and pillows, will be marketed in Hanoi and its neigbouring provinces in the initial stage by a centre for distributing products for disabled people, which is under the Phu Thai Distribution and Investment Group.

Tran Manh Hao, Deputy Head of the Distribution Centre Project Management Unit under the Phu Thai group, said the centre was established with the aim of assisting people with disabilities in developing production and selling products. All profit gained by the centre will be reinvested in product research, trade promotion, training and distribution expansion.

Phu Thai will focus on promoting products of Victa trademark on the domestic market between now and 2009 and to foreign countries next, Hao added.

The Phu Thai Distribution and Investment Group currently distributes products of famous trademarks, including Procter & Gamble, Triumph, Dutch Lady, Rohto, Oral B, Shell and Dunlop.
