“VNPT – the real life” advertising campaign will commence in December 2005.
According to a Vietnam Post and Telecommunications (VNPT) official, the move is considered a positive change in improving the current situation.
Customers’ acknowledgement of VNPT trademarks is at a very low level at present, compared to the corporation’s potential and position, especially when VNPT will operate under the model of an economic group.
According to VNPT spokesman Bui Quoc Viet, advertising of the VNPT trademark still lacks professionalism. To improve the situation, VNPT’s Management Board has approved a strategy on VNPT trademark development, emphasising VNPT as the leading group in Vietnam for post, telecommunications, and IT.
As of December 1, 2005, VNPT will officially put its trademark and slogan “VNPT – the real life” into circulation, with new signboards appearing in the third quarter of 2006.
